Bristone

The Bristone earring series was made as a park of the Making Place, Marking Space exhibition at Woolloogabba Art Gallery, Brisbane Australia in early 2020.One focus of the exhibition was to capture the hues of Brisbane, the colours of which she names “Bristones”. 

 

The original collection of earrings are of the hues that stood out from the rest to tell the story of the city. The colours in the collection include: BCC (Brisbane City Council) Blue, Winter Skies, Jacaranda Fever, Poinciana, Summer Sunset, Dusk Cloud, Apartment with a View, Municipal Sandstone, New Farm Reach, Lang Park, Spriknlers On!, Dusty Weatherboard, Humidity Rising Riverside Expressway, City Façade, Inner City Queenslander, Afternoon Storm, and Story Bridge.
